Are you holding onto something in your organization that someone else should be doing?
Does your ego allow you to delegate tasks that if it were not on your plate would allow you to focus on things that would move your business forward?
Are you so caught up in doing things the way you’ve always done them you don’t even realize you’ve outgrown those activities?
Select any area of your organization, operations, lead generation, database, etc etc and ask yourself the question in the title of this Thursday Thought. Are you building your database the best that you can or the best that it can be done? If your answer isn’t we’re doing it the best it can be done it may be time to change something. Who is doing it the best it can be done. What things are they doing that I can easily replicate? What needs to change about the way I show up on a daily basis in order for me to work my database the best it can be done?
Just because you’re doing the best you can doesn’t mean it’s the best it can be done and the only way to become the best is to find someone that does it better than you or get out of your comfort zone and develop your skills. More often than not the best decision is to find talent.
