Do you feel stuck? Confused? Lost? Maybe it feels like things are just harder than they used to be? Perhaps it’s time to pick up the book Who Moved My Cheese by Ken Blanchard. It’s a super easy read that can be completed in one sitting. Working with business owners all around the country I’ve found when someone describes life in that way I can simply ask one question which usually helps get them out of their own way.

That question is:

Are you fighting to keep things the way they were or are you fighting for progress? Oftentimes someone who is “stuck” when asked this question will come to the realization that the proverbial cheese has been moved and what they feel is the pressure of fighting the rest of the world to keep things the way it was in the good old days.

Change is inevitable, we can decide to fight it or we can decide to cause it. In my experience, the best way to deal with change is to be the cause of it not fight the effects of it?

Are you fighting to be the cause of change or are you fighting to keep things the way you like?
